The Broz is a restored 1898 hotel in downtown New Prague, designed by Cass Gilbert, the architect of the Minnesota State Capitol: original pressed tin ceilings, hand painted stained glass, and hardwood floors, with multiple unique spaces under one roof. The Grand Ballroom seats up to 300. The Brick X Lounge, a Prohibition era Speakeasy, two getting ready suites, patios and lawn, and eight boutique hotel rooms upstairs.
Every wedding here is built around the couple. Lean on us for nearly everything, or bring your own vendors and do it your way. The choice is always yours.

Walk the whole building with us, about 60 minutes, speakeasy included. You'll leave with a handwritten quote covering every dollar.
Review and sign the contract, make your required down payment, and the date is yours.
Fourteen hours of event time, a dedicated event coordinator, and setup, teardown, and cleaning handled by our team.

QÂ What is your guest capacity?
A The Grand Ballroom seats up to 300 for dinner, with the Brick X Lounge and the Speakeasy open all night. Outdoors, the lawn holds a ceremony for up to 300 and the upper deck holds up to 175.
QÂ What's included in the rental?
AÂ Every rental includes tables, wood Chiavari chairs, LED lighting, a bartender, a dedicated event coordinator, two getting-ready suites, a custom bar, patio access, liability insurance, and full setup, teardown, and cleaning.
QÂ How does catering work?
A We’re thrilled to partner with Hostiva Catering as our exclusive caterer! Hostiva is renowned for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Their meal packages start at just $25 per plate and include everything you need for a seamless dining experience: linen napkins, tablecloths, china dinner plates, stainless steel cutlery, coordinated buffet linens and so much more. QÂ How long do we have the venue?
A Our standard event time is 14 hours, from 10:00 AM until midnight. For any additional hours beyond this window, an extra $195 per hour applies to cover the extended staffing and setup prior to 10am. $400/hour if extended beyond midnight.
QÂ How do we lock in our date?
A Locking your date requires a signed contract and a nonrefundable down payment. This ensures your wedding day is reserved for you and protects your investment against last-minute changes. Downpayment ranges from $3,000 to $4,500 depending on day/package.
QÂ Can we have our ceremony on site?
A Yes, and about 95% of our couples do. The $1,000 ceremony fee includes a full room changeover and setup by our team. You also get to choose from indoor and outdoor ceremony options.
QÂ ARE THERE HOTEL ROOMS ON SITE?
AÂ Â Yes, eight private suites. Most weddings end when the lights come up and everyone scatters. At The Broz, your close friends and family head upstairs instead. Room block can be added for a fee, or the full hotel is included in our two-night package so the weekend keeps going.
QÂ ARE THERE ANY FEES THAT WILL SURPRISE ME?
AÂ Definitely not! Request our pricing lookbook and you'll get a full breakdown before you ever set foot here. Then after your tour, we sit down, talk through the wedding you actually want, and your coordinator hand-writes a detailed proposal. You leave knowing exactly what your day costs.

Two independent event spaces: The Ballroom for up to 430 guests at street level, and the Rooftop Loft for up to 150 with its own bar, its own entrance, and a 1,700 square foot open-air rooftop patio. Pricing starts at $3,500.
